First Time...

I have never blogged before, but I think this will be a perfect project for others to keep up with our lives and vice versa since I do not get to see my family and friends as much as I would like. Zach and I were married on July 10th, 2009 (a perfect wedding) and moved out to Georgia the next day! I had never lived more than an hour from my home and family up to this point, but now we live 12 hours away. We just got back to Georgia from spending almost 2 weeks with my family in Arkansas. Zach got to shoot his first deer and go on a luxurious duck hunting trip with Mr. Wilson and my dad at Grassy Lake.

It was great to see some of my very best friends and catching up on the gossip in the small town of Nashville. Never a dull moment when the girls get together :)

Christmas is always a special time for our family because we are such a small family. It's just my family (mom, dad, DJ, me, and now Zach) and my mom's parents (Jammy and Joe). We are so spoiled because we are still the kids of the family! Zach is so much fun to watch open presents because he is so sincere in his excitement for each present. Give him something with a Bengal or Nike logo, and you cannot go wrong. I got a new canon camera from Zach for Christmas, so my project for the next semester is to learn as much as possible about photography and editting. I have always enjoyed taking pictures, so I hope I have a new hobby to keep me busy when I am a football widow again.

Our first Christmas together as a married couple could not have been better. We loved being in Arkansas and with our family and friends there. I am already counting down the days until we get to go back... hopefully flying this time.
